Grounding Statistics in Batang Toru with PT Agincourt Resources

BPS South Tapanuli Regency in collaboration with PT. Agincourt Resources in compiling a monitoring & evaluation survey of community development and empowerment programs (PPM) conducted by PT. Agincourt Resources. This collaboration also supports BPS's sectoral statistical activities in terms of statistical development to external parties. This activity includes statistical coaching in the preparation of questionnaires, recruitment, and officer training.

The training of officers of the 2025 Joint Monitoring Monev Forum (Monev 15 DAV) was attended by 40 officers and was held for 3 effective days, starting from 4 to 6 February 2025, at Sopo Daganak, Batang Toru. This event was opened by the Head of BPS South Tapanuli Regency, Mr. Zainal Arifin, together with PT. Agincourt Resources and the Regional Government of South Tapanuli Regency.

The Monitoring Team from BPS plays a role in teaching basic statistical concepts, ethics and interview procedures, as well as details of questions in the monev survey module.
