People's Welfare Statistic of Tapanuli Selatan Regency 2018

Data and information are needed in order to support the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating the results of development so that it can run well. Data on socio-economic conditions are needed to provide an overview of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to people's living needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security, and employment opportunities is needed to find out how far the achievement of development outcomes reaches all levels of society. The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is designed to produce socio-economic data of the population in the education, health, housing, and other sectors related to the description of household welfare in a region. In 2018, Susenas data collection is carried out twice a year, in March and September. Publication of 2018 South Tapanuli District People's Welfare Statistics is the result of data collection through the March 2018 Susenas Kor questionnaire (VSEN18.K List) carried out throughout the South Tapanuli Regency. This publication is presented in the form of a percentage number of a population that is sorted according to household characteristics.
